PTT Posta delivery tracking

PTT tracking numbers

What is the PTT tracking number?

PTT gives you a tracking number. It lets you follow your package's whole trip. Doesn't matter if it's going across town or across the globe, the system keeps its status updated all the time. You can see where your stuff is, from when it ships, through customs, right until it lands on your doorstep. That's a huge relief.

Where to find PTT tracking numbers

Lost your PTT tracking number? Your receipt from when you sent it will have it. Or, if you bought something online, the person who sold it usually sends you the number in your order confirmation email. Registered mail? It's right there on the parcel receipt. Still no luck? Just pop down to your local post office with your details; they might be able to dig it out of their system. And you can always check your PTT website account. That's if you made one for the shipment, of course.

PTT tracking number formats

So, PTT (that's the Turkish Postal Service) tracking numbers usually look like this:

RR395991765TR

  • First two letters (RR) - These show the service type. Here, "RR" means it's a registered mail service.

  • Nine digits (395991765) - This long number is your package's unique identifier. It's one of a kind!

  • Last two letters (TR) - And finally, "TR" just tells you the country code. That's Turkey, obviously.
